Adventure 4WD Hire was founded by a team of travel and adventure enthusiasts who live and breathe the great outdoors.

 

Our Managing Director, Nick, has been a 4WD buff since childhood, spending his weekends at ten years old leafing through every off-road and 4WD magazine he could find. He was 6 when he completed his first lap of Australia with his family, 18 when he completed his second lap in his first 4wd. Many years later, he still has that same passion and is generally the first to put his hand up when a vehicle relocation is required. That same passion runs through the entire team. With strong ties to Australia’s adventure tourism industry, we’ve all spent years exploring the country ourselves - from the red deserts of the Outback to the beaches of K’gari and the West Coast and the wild Top End and Cape York regions. Having travelled extensively, we know what makes a journey truly unforgettable - and what gear stands up to the test. We’re passionate about sharing our knowledge and partnering with you on your trip.

 

Every vehicle in our fleet has been custom-made with all the trimmings needed for big trips - no expense spared. Built using the best equipment and trusted brands, each setup has been tried, tested, and refined over years of four-wheel driving across Australia. From unbreakable Toyota vehicles, to ARB 4wd accessories, Norweld canopies, Redarc off-grid electrical systems, Darche premium roof top tents and Starlink connectivity to complete camping setups, our vehicles are designed to take you anywhere in comfort and confidence.
