5 days / 4 nights – Daintree & Cape Tribulation (minimum hire)
Day 1 – Cairns → Mossman Gorge → Daintree River Explore Mossman Gorge before continuing north.
Day 2 – Daintree Rainforest → Cape Tribulation Travel through rainforest to coastal headlands and beaches.
Day 3 – Cape Tribulation → Bloomfield Track Engage 4WD and travel the Bloomfield Track (conditions permitting).
Day 4 – Bloomfield Track → Cooktown Continue north to the historic town of Cooktown.
Day 5 – Cooktown → Cairns Return south via inland or coastal route depending on conditions.
7–9 days – Cooktown & early Cape York
Day 1–2: Cairns → Daintree → Cape Tribulation
Day 3: Bloomfield Track → Cooktown
Day 4: Cooktown (Grassy Hill, surrounds)
Day 5: Cooktown → Lakefield National Park
Day 6: Lakefield → Coen
Day 7: Return south or continue north depending on conditions
9–14 days – Cape York expedition
Day 1–3: Cairns → Daintree → Bloomfield Track → Cooktown

Day 5: Lakefield → Coen
Day 6: Coen → Iron Range National Park (Lockhart River area)
Day 7: Iron Range exploration
Day 8: Iron Range → Weipa

Day 13–14: Return journey or onward transport arrangements
Seasonal recommendations:
Best time to travel: May–October (Dry Season)
Wet Season (November–April): Many tracks, river crossings and national parks close due to flooding
Bloomfield Track, Cape York routes and inland tracks are highly seasonal
